Great American Cleanup/Don't Mess with Texas Trash-off is the 26th Annual Spring Community Cleanup Event which is held in cooperation with Keep Texas Beautiful, Keep America Beautiful, and Texas Department of Transportation.
Individuals or groups can clean anytime from March 1st through May 31st to count toward our participation goals. KMB will provide all of the supplies you will need for your cleanup. All you need to do is organize a group of individuals, friends, neighbors, teammates, or coworkers. You can clean any public area that needs attention, your favorite park, office area, school, your adopted spots, roadways, etc., or we will provide one for you. This campaign also includes beautification efforts like removing graffiti, planting trees, handling recycling collections, and conducting educational programs. Sponsorships are available until March 15, 2024.
Who: Groups, companies, families, or individuals who want to get involved in their local community.
What: The Great American Cleanup and Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-off is a community-wide cleanup event for all who want to help out and do beautiful things in their community! Registered participants will receive all the supplies needed for the event.

***NOTE: Groups that received our new red Fall Shirts, will wear this same t-shirt this Spring! New group participants will receive the same red t-shirt worn in the Fall as well!
When: Your group can sign up to participate and be counted anytime from March 1 – May 31.
Location: Supply Pick Up and Report & Supply Dropoff will be at the Midland Shared Spaces Building, where our office is housed at 3500 N. A Street.
Where: KMB Great American Cleanup and Don’t Mess with Texas Trash-off events can take place in any public area in your community needing some extra attention. We recommend parks, schools, main street/downtown, watershed areas, and roadways. Or you can ask us to recommend a spot for you.
